Draw another small trapezoid for the winglets and small triangles for the funnel connector.
It is not very difficult to draw an airplane. You must know its structure to be able to draw it. The only challenge lies in drawing the wings and tail of the plane. War airplanes have a different shape from the passenger ones. In this lesson, we will learn the steps to drawing a military aircraft.
Draw two an arc for the nose and a sharp curve for the back part of the plane.
Draw the cockpit or flight deck of the airplane using quadrilaterals on top of the plane’s body.
We are all at different levels of drawing. Be creative and do your best. You could do some research on a particular plane you wish to draw.
Learn how to draw an airplane by following the simple steps in this tutorial.
Draw the landing gear using a circle and connect this to the plane using slanted lines.
Draw a block plane. Let’s begin our drawing with the basic outline of the body of an airplane. To do this, draw a long straight line. On one edge, draw a square for the cockpit and two slanted lines for the wings. Continue toward the end of the line and draw two lines for the rear wings branched out from the aircraft. Right next to them, draw two more lines for the other wing.
Add a line on the side of the fuselage to make it look a little more interesting.
Bow section plane. Draw the details on the bow of the aircraft. To do this, draw a very large circle. Add a short line. Press harder with your pencil over your tentative lines from before and connect them to the wings in a smooth transition.
Add small squares for the passenger windows. Make the windows on the right side smaller to add some perspective to the airplane drawing.
Add a few straight lines to sketch the wing. The wing is slightly narrower at its tip than at the base.
Draw a curve on the left part of the oval for the nose and a semi rectangle for the plane fuselage.
Draw a quadrilateral shape on the rear part of the plane to serve as the horizontal and vertical stabilizer.
Painting military aircraft. Now we will paint the plane with military overtones. This can be a fighter plane. We will need three colors for camouflage coloring. If you’re using watercolor, apply paint in smooth rounded movements. If you’d like, you can draw a pilot in the cockpit of the airplane. To create smoother transitions and lessen the contrast of lines in your drawing, you can swipe over the lines with your fingertip.
The major parts of an airplane. Now you need to carefully draw other parts of the airplane, with as much precision as possible. Start with the nose of the aircraft. Draw the shape of the nose similar to that of a rocket. Then sketch the body of the plane towards the wings. Next draw flaps. Then spend some time on the tail. Draw two pairs of smaller wings, like the previous ones. Behind them, make a line with two turbines.
Draw a cylinder, then a cone on top, then fins on the side. Then add some detail!
Sketch lightly so that you can tweak your lines later. At the end, you can use heavier lines to trace your sketch and complete the drawing.
Draw another series of trapezoids for the wings and horizontal stabilizer.
To draw a plane, start by drawing a horizontal upward curve that looks like a hook at one end. Then, draw a horizontal downward curve on top of it to close the shape and make the body of the plane. Next, sketch 2 slanted rectangles on either side of the body, which will be the wings. Add 3 quadrilateral shapes to the thin end of the plane for the stabilizers, and draw 2 curved lines under each wing to make the engines. Once you’ve done that, erase any unnecessary lines, sketch the windows and doors, and you’re finished!

Draw extended rectangles on each side of the plane for the wings.
Add the horizontal and vertical stabilizers of the rear part of the plane.
Draw the propeller and spinner on the frontal part of the airplane.

Using one of the slanted lines as guide, draw a rectangular shape on the lower left side. Add a triangular shape connected to the rectangle extending towards the right upper line. Remember to skip the pointed end of the triangle, instead, replace it with a small slanted line so that it appears to have four angles.
This will serve as the body of the plane.

Sketch the airplane’s wings on each side using a slanted rectangle.
Draw another wing to the other side. This wing is partially hidden by the plane fuselage.
Today we’re going create an airplane drawing. Real airplanes are very complex machines with countless details. But drawing a cartoon airplane is much, much easier. There are still quite a few steps in the drawing tutorial but all the lines and shapes are very simple and, as it is a cartoon plane, so they don’t need to be super-precise.
Add details such as the windows, doors, wing details and funnel details.

To make it appear three dimensional, reproduce the same shape on the bottom of the original one and connect it with vertical lines.
Draw another circle for the other landing gear. Make it smaller as it’s further away.
Complete the vertical stabilizer by drawing straight lines that connect its top with the underside of the fuselage.
Why does the Biplane only have a single set of wings? This is a monoplane.
Draw a long curved shape. Note that the left end looks more like a C.
Draw a tilted straight line in the middle where the wing is placed.
You don’t need any special pens or tools. A regular pencil, eraser, and paper are all you need. If you want, you can also color the drawing with colored pencils or pens.

The airplane is quite long. Remember to leave enough space for the whole plane to fit on your paper.
Draw a plane. Sweep the wings back. Add rockets, machine guns, and a pilot.
Draw a rectangular shape for the cockpit window. The top and bottom of the rectangle curve slightly following the curve of the fuselage.

Draw a triangle for the back part then draw a trapezoid above it for the tail fin.
In the guide below, each step is highlighted in a light blue color.
In the underside, draw another long line. This line is curving slightly. Also note that the back of the plane is narrower than the front.
Color the drawing and add clouds or other planes for details.
Draw a straight, tilted line for the front of the vertical stabilizer.
We begin the airplane drawing with a curvy line for the stubby nose of the plane.
Add wings. Now you need to add wings to your aircraft. First, pivot the other two lines from the midline of the wings. Add flaps onto the sides of the front. The ends of each wing look like that of a small rocket. Then work on the remaining details.

Draw an inverted version of the first curve you have drawn on top to connect the ends of the curves to produce a rough outline of the airplane’s body.
How to draw an Airplane. Final stage. At this point, we erase all unnecessary lines from our drawing and add the finishing touches to the airplane. Remember to place turbines and fuel tanks, both of which enable the flight, near the rear of the plane.
Draw the engines to the other side. Only one engine is visible behind the body of the plane.
Draw a big X shape at the center of the paper. This will be the guide in drawing the plane. Press down lightly with your pencil so that it is easy to erase.
